John Voss jr. seated next to former president Herbert Hoover. John was chosen out of many Iowa Eagle Scouts of America, to give a speech and dedicate the Boy Scout picnic pavilion. He dedicated the pavilion to president Hoover on his 80th birthday. All of this happened at the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site.
