This is the main building of the Waverly Canning Co., built in 1883 just east of the Illinois Central tracks on the south side of Bremer Ave. The company was closed for six years in the 1890s, then purchased, remodeled and reopened by H.B. Kelley as the Kelley Canning Co. in 1899. The photo was probably taken just after the building was completed.
